Uncover the secrets of hardware tools: What is an electric screwdriver?
What is an electric screwdriver? The electric screwdriver is suitable for fastening or disassembling screw connections in mechanical assembly, construction and other industries. Single-phase series screwdriver is composed of single-phase series motor, gear reducer, clutch device, screwdriver head and protective sleeve, positive and reverse power switch and power connection device.

The electric screwdriver clutch device is composed of a jaw clutch, a pressure spring, an adjusting nut and a main shaft for clamping the screwdriver head. The rotation movement of the screwdriver head is driven by the motor through the secondary gear to drive the hollow shaft to rotate. The front end of the hollow shaft is the driving part of the jaw clutch. After the motor is started, the hollow shaft rotates without load and the screwdriver head is stationary.

What is an electric screwdriver

When the screwdriver head is under axial pressure, the hollow shaft spring is compressed to make the teeth of the clutch follower end face mesh with the teeth of the clutch driving part at the front end of the hollow shaft, so that the steel ball of the jaw clutch is integrated with the screwdriver head, and the screwdriver head also rotates together, so that the screw can be tightened or removed. After the tooth clutch is engaged, the torque is transmitted by the three steel balls in the middle.

When working, if the required torque is reached or the torque is too large, the driven part of the jaw clutch will compress the spring and slip away from the driving part and driven part of the jaw clutch to prevent thread damage and motor overload. The adjusting nut is used to adjust the output torque of the screwdriver head. Through the working spring, adjust the compression force of the jaw clutch follower to ensure that the jaw clutch can be separated smoothly under a certain torque.

The torque can be reached by turning the adjusting nut. If the adjusting nut rotates in the direction of the jaw clutch, the spring is compressed and the transmission torque is large; If the adjusting nut rotates in the opposite direction of the jaw clutch, the force on the spring is small, and the transmission torque is also small. The screw tightening torque can be adjusted according to the above method to ensure a stable clamping force between the screw and the workpiece, thus ensuring the assembly quality of the screw and the workpiece.

What is an electric screwdriver? Through the above introduction, I believe you have a certain understanding of this.
